STEP 1: DOMAIN NAME AND HOSTING
First you’ll need a web-host for your domain name. Web-hosting is basically the space you rent out to have your website displayed. I have really loved Bluehost because their rates are great and they give you a FREE domain name when you host with them.
I love free stuff!
To get started with Bluehost you’ll just have to select a hosting plan. If you’d like to save some cash i’d recommend selecting the starter plan, which is paid in one payment instead of monthly.

Have you already picked out the perfect domain name?
As i’m sure you noticed I selected WholesalingToolBox.com for my domain name. To help you find the perfect name, I suggest writing down your top five names and then go to Bluehost to see if your domain name is available. You can check the availability by entering your desired domain name into the box that looks like this:
Next you’ll be asked to select your package information settings. The settings I use are shown in the image below.
The domain privacy protection option isn’t necessary but it will keep your personal contact information from being displayed to the public.
STEP 2: INSTALL WORDPRESS
Once registration with Bluehost is complete, you’ll need to install WordPress.
WordPress is a FREE website building software. It’s the software that I’m using for this website you’re on right now – WholesalingToolBox.com. When I first discovered WordPress I was blown away at how easy it was to install on my website and easy it is to use.
Here’s how to install WordPress on your new website:
Login to Bluehost and click the cpanel tab.
Scroll down to the Website Builders section and click on Install WordPress
Click the “Install” button on the next page.
Then select your domain name from the drop down box and click the “Check Domain” button.
Check the box that says “I have read the terms and conditions” and press the “Install Now button”
WordPress will then be installed to your website and a message will eventually pop up that says “Your Install is Complete” Click the “View Credentials” and then either print this page or write down your WordPress access information that will be displayed below. You will need this to log into WordPress and edit your website.
Click your Admin Url Link or type the Admin Url into your web browser. Then all you need to do is enter the user name and password that you saved from the previous step.
You did it! You now own and have logged into your first website!
STEP 3: MAKE IT LOOK GREAT!
I bet your’e feeling pretty great now that you have your own website!
You’ll be collecting new motivated seller and buyer leads before you know it.
Before you start sending traffic to your site there are a few things you can do to setup a landing page that converts. One of those is selecting your theme! There are a bunch of free WordPress themes to choose from. You can check out all of the free themes here.
